Materials

For making your own kite or repairing one, ripstop nylon is generally what we use. It is one of the strongest and lightest materials available. We sell top quality seconds ripstop which is coated by our broker. Also used for making shower curtains, ceiling covers, batiques & for theatre drops etc.

With regards to ripstop nylon, we cannot really list current colours (since they change so regularly - and we just get hold of what we can at this price). If you require specific colours please check when ordering. A rainbow selection of colours, black & white are generally held in stock.

It retains its strength when wet and can be drawn on by the more adventurous kite maker! This is stocked 1.5m wide and sold in meter lenghths.
