Power Kites - Flexifoil Sabre 2

This is the latest de powerable kite from Flexifoil. This gives you more control as to when you want and don't want the power in the kite. The Sabre2 is an entirely new redesigned Sabre kite with a simplified bridle and new safety system. The new Sabre2 has all the stability of the original Sabre but with more lift and float which gives you more time to think about pulling off new tricks. This new kite is mostly designed for land boarding and snow boarding but can also be used for kite buggying. This power kite has a new 5th line safety system common on most kite surfing kites. This new system has now been adapted to the Sabre2 which is simple, easy to use and very easy to reset. The wing tips on the Sabre2 are straighter then they were on the Sabre1. This stops the wing tips from folding in during use which was common on the Sabre1. The Sabre is not a low wind kite but suitable for medium winds.

You will need a harness to fly a de powerable kite. Get a quality one that's up for the job and fits well enough so you won't swim around in it. If you do you will not have the control over your kite. Please see our selection of harnesses in the Harness Section.

The Sabre 2s are now in 4 sizes :
5m: Good trainer kite for any one looking to get in to kite depowering, or expert power kite flyers in strong winds.
7m: A great starter size for anyone looking to get a depowerable kite for the first time. Again this is good for the more experienced power kite flyers in the stronger winds.
9.5m: The most popular all round depowerable Sabre2 kite size, which will cover the lower medium to fairly high winds. If you are looking for a depowerable kite which covers the widest wind range, this is the size to buy!
12m: For those lower medium wind days, or the heavier guy, giving you the maximum depowerable kite use on fairly light wind days. Being a depowerable kite this will adapt to the ever changing winds.

See our gallery for some of what the Air Born Kites staff and customers can do on these kites.
